This pictures comes from cordwoodconstruction.org.

Here is a wall under construction from cordwoodmasonry.com.  This website is for a building school.

We started practicing with cob by learning to gather natural clay from our own backyard.  The clay will be used to make cob to be used as mortar for the cordwood house.  A good practice clay/cob project was this rocket stove we built from cob.

Our project for the winter of 2017-18 is to design a very simple cordwood house to build in the spring.  We need a little more room for our family and a little building practice for the final house, which won’t be so simple.
